Abstract

A method of treating the hair including providing a concentrated hair care composition in a mechanical foam dispenser. The concentrated hair care composition includes one or more silicones, from about 1% to about 5% perfume, and is substantially free of high melting point fatty compounds. The method also includes dispensing the concentrated hair care composition from the mechanical foam dispenser as a dosage of foam; applying the foam to the hair; and rinsing the foam from the hair. The foam has a density of from about 0.025 g/cmto about 0.3 g/cmwhen dispensed from the mechanical foam dispenser.
