An exhaust-gas turbocharger () comprising a housing (), a turbine wheel () with blades (), a compressor wheel () with blades (), and a shaft () which is mounted in the housing () and which connects the turbine wheel () and compressor wheel (), wherein, in a gap () between the housing () and at least one blade (), a contactless labyrinth seal () is formed on the blade () and on the housing (), wherein the labyrinth seal () comprises at least one combination of a groove () and a projection ().
