Abstract
This invention relates to a solid MgClbased Natta catalyst component for producing olefin polymers and preparation of said catalyst component. Further the invention relates to a Ziegler Natta catalyst comprising said solid catalyst component, Group 13 metal compound as cocatalyst and optionally external additives. The invention further relates to the use of said catalyst component in producing olefin polymers, especially ethylene polymers with desired properties.
