Abstract
A branching device () includes a switch (SW), a fixed filter circuit (), and a tunable filter (TF). The switch (SW) includes a common terminal (Ps) and individual terminals (Ps, Ps). The fixed filter circuit () is connected to the individual terminal (Ps) and has a fixed pass band. The tunable filter (TF) is connected to the individual terminal (Ps) and has a tunable pass band. The fixed filter circuit () includes filters (FIL, FIL) having different pass bands. The pass bands of the filters (FIL, FIL) correspond to frequency bands to be used in carrier aggregation.
