Abstract
There is provided a liquid-capturing shaft (). The shaft is hollow, arranged for rotation about its longitudinal axis (), and has a cylindrical wall () defining an inner surface () and an outer surface () of the shaft and through which are formed a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart inlet openings (). Each inlet opening () has a respective inwardly and axially facing capture surface () which extends from the outer surface () of the shaft to the inner surface () of the shaft.
