A method for preparing a concentrated extract of, in liquid or dry form, having a harpagoside titer greater than or equal to 5%, comprises a step of purifying a crude extract ofin liquid form in aqueous phase by a technique of liquid-liquid extraction with an organic solvent selected from the esters.
