Abstract

In a clutch release bearing device, an inner ring () of a ball bearing () is pressed against a diaphragm spring () so that a clutch is disengaged. A contact member () made of steel is press-fitted to the inner ring () so that a convex spherical protruding portion () formed at an end portion of the contact member () is brought into contact with the diaphragm spring (). In addition, a contact position (C) between the protruding portion () and the diaphragm spring () is located between an extension line of an inner diameter (D) of the inner ring () and an extension line of an outer diameter (D) of the inner ring ().
