Abstract

A pump unit for supplying fuel, preferably diesel oil, to an internal combustion engine has at least two cylinders (), which are formed in at least one head (), are slidingly engaged by respective pistons (), and communicate hydraulically with respective fuel inlets () in the cylinders () via respective interposed intake valves () provided with respective valve bodies () incorporated in the head (); the inlets () of all the cylinders () being closed by a single cover () fixed to the head ().
