Abstract
A contact device () of a starter contactor () comprising:—a contact rod () made of an electrically insulating material,—a contact strip () made of an electrically conducting material comprising a hole () in which is mounted the contact rod (),—a squashing spring (),—a restoring spring (), the contact device () also comprises a closure clip () of radial width greater than or equal to the diameter of the squashing spring (), a radial notch () being made in the closure clip (), the radial notch () receiving a portion of the contact rod (), the squashing spring () being mounted compressed between the closure clip () and the contact strip () which is in abutment on a retaining collar () of the contact rod ().
