Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide nucleic acids capable of imparting high-yielding ability to plants. Another object of the present invention is to use such nucleic acids to produce transgenic plants at increased yield, as well as to provide methods for increasing the yield of plants. By introducing into a plant a construct in which a promoter of a pseudo-response regulator gene inand/or a structural gene of a pseudo-response regulator in a plant are operably linked, a transgenic plant is obtained that has acquired high-yielding ability.
