Abstract
The disclosure provides a closed-loop controller for a controlled system comprising a comparison element generating an error e, a compensator generating a control uvalue based on the error e, and a control allocator determining a manipulated parameter uvalue based on the control u. The control allocator typically utilizes a control effectiveness function and determines uvalue by selecting one or more specific system xsignals from the system state xor system input yvalues or system parameters values preported, defining a plurality of distributed xaround each specific system xsignal, and minimizing an error function E(z), where the error function E(z) is based on errors which arise from use of the plurality of distributed xin the control effectiveness function rather than one or more specific system xsignals.
