Abstract
A synthesis method of benzotrichalcogenophene (BTC) includes using a tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium (Pd(PPh)) catalyst and a [1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene]chloro[3-phenylallyl]palladium(II) (Pd-IPr) catalyst. The asymmetric benzotrichalcogenophene compound is a heterocyclic compound having furan, thiophene, selenophene and/or tellurophene subunits.
