Abstract
A touch sensing device comprises a plurality of first touch electrodes and a plurality of second touch electrodes located in an active area of the touch sensing device, the plurality of first touch electrodes and the plurality of second touch electrodes arranged in a first direction. The touch sensing device also includes a plurality of third touch electrodes located in the active area and arranged in a second direction that crosses the first direction. The first touch electrodes, second touch electrodes, and third touch electrodes have a first resolution for sensing touch in the active area. The touch sensing device also includes a plurality of combination touch and fingerprint electrodes located in the active area, the plurality of combination touch and fingerprint electrodes having a second resolution for sensing both touch and a fingerprint in the active area and the second resolution being higher than the first resolution.
