Abstract
The present invention provides a drug delivery device () comprising a dose delivery mechanism and a blocking structure () for preventing inadvertent activation of the dose delivery mechanism. The blocking structure () enables and disables the dose delivery mechanism dependent on the position of a needle holder () relative to a drug cartridge holder ().
