Abstract

A method () for cross-polarization interference power suppression in dual-polarization radio communication systems includes: filtering () a vertical polarization component (x(n)) and a horizontal polarization component (x(n)) of a received dual-polarization channel signal by a 2×2 channel weights matrix (); and determining () the 2×2 channel weights matrix () based on a minimum variance distortionless response criterion.
