Abstract

An organic EL light-emitting device including: a light-emitting layer capable of generating light; a first light-scattering layer containing first light-scattering particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1 μm to 1 μm; and prisms in a streak array pattern. The light emitting layer, the first light-scattering layer and the prisms are disposed in this order, and a mean free path Lof light scattering in the first light-scattering layer and a thickness Dof the first light-scattering layer satisfy D/L<6.
