Abstract
Provided is a simple-structured tensioner that can reduce processing and assembling workload as well as increase the degree of design freedom. A tensionerincludes an oil supply holeformed in a sleeve bottomand a check valvedisposed on a front face of the sleeve bottom. The check valveincludes a check balland a retainer. The sleeve bottomincludes a ball seatwhich protrudes in a cylindrical shape toward the front side integrally with and continuously from the edge of the oil supply holeand on which the check ballis seated.
