Abstract
An electrically heated catalyst deviceaccording to an aspect of the present invention includes a catalyst supportsupporting a catalyst thereon, a thin plate-like wiring line memberfixed on an outer circumferential surface of the catalyst support, an outer cylinderwith an openingformed on its side, the outer cylindercovering the outer circumferential surface of the catalyst support, the openingbeing configured for externally pulling out the wiring line member, and a holding member, the holding memberfilling up space between the catalyst supportand the outer cylinderand thereby holding the catalyst support, in which the catalyst supportis electrically heated through the wiring line member. A pull-out partof the wiring line memberpulled out through the openingis formed in an accordion shape.
