Provided is a positioning information application system that is a configuration including a wearable device capable of acquiring the current position, and accurately determines and uses the position of the user; a gateway device; and a wearable device. Comprising a wearable devicethat is worn by a user and can acquire the current position, and a gateway devicethat is a device capable of near-field communication with the wearable deviceand can acquire or stores the current position. The wearable deviceand gateway devicework together to determine whether first positioning information Pindicating the current position of the wearable device, or second positioning information Pindicating the current position of the gateway device, more accurately indicates the location of the userwearing the wearable device(step SA, SA), and uses the positioning information determined to be more accurate as the position of the user(step SA, SA, SA).
