Abstract
The invention relates to a display device () for a motor vehicle () having a mirror apparatus () which has a display element () with a semi-transparent mirror surface, and having a drive apparatus () by means of which the mirror apparatus () can be moved between a storage position and a position of use, wherein the mirror apparatus () has a sensor apparatus () which is configured to detect, in the position of use of the mirror apparatus (), a force applied to the display element ().
