Abstract

An improved touch panel assembly () is provided. The touch panel assembly () comprises a bezel (), a display (), a touch panel (), and a glass lens (). The assembly () is formed to so that the touch panel () has a touch panel extension () extending beyond the glass lens (). The touch panel extension () allows for a bumper () to edge mount to the glass lens () between the housing () and the module () and cover the touch panel extension () and sides of the assembly ().
