Abstract

A virtual-reality or augmented-reality viewer () for a mobile electronic device (), the viewer () including a central body (), a left lens () and a right lens () arranged in the central body (), a left side body () connected to the central body (), a right side body () connected to the central body (), and a tension mechanism () which biases the left and right side bodies () towards each other. In a first viewer state, a left portion of the central body () is accommodated in the left side body () and a right portion of the central body () is accommodated in the right side body (). In a second viewer state, the left portion of the central body () is not accommodated in the left side body () and the right portion of the central body () is not accommodated in the right side body (), so that the left and right lenses () are not covered by the left or right side body ().
