Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for preparing functionalized cyclosiloxanes of Formula I, wherein R, R, R, m, n1 and n2 are as defined herein, comprising reacting (i) a cyclosiloxane of Formula II with (ii) a substituted acetylene of Formula III in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst. The invention further relates to methods for preparing biscyclosiloxanes by reacting the vinyl cyclosiloxanes obtained according to the described methods and the (bis)cyclosiloxanes obtainable according to the described methods.
