Abstract

An electroacoustic transducer includes a driver, a diaphragmdriven to vibrate by the driver and emitting sound, a baffleholding the driver and the diaphragm, first openingsextending through the baffle, an acoustic resistordisposed on the back side of the baffle, and second openingsextending from the front side to the back side of the acoustic resistor. The baffleis provided on the back side of the diaphragm. The first openingsare provided in the baffle. The second openingsare each disposed above one of the first openingsin the acoustic resistor. The electroacoustic transducer exhibits an excellent frequency response even if a sufficient volume of a space is not provided on the back side of the diaphragm
