Abstract
A nonaqueous electrolyte solution includes a lithium salt and a nonaqueous solvent that dissolves the lithium salt. The nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains from at least 0.01 ppm to not more than 100 ppm of a compound represented by the following general formula (1):R—CROR—CROR  (1)(in formula (1), Rand Rrepresent an organic group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms and optionally having a substituent; Rrepresents hydrogen or an organic group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms and optionally having a substituent; and Rto Rmay each represent the same group or may each represent different groups).
