Abstract
A valve has a valve piston () guided longitudinally movably in a valve housing () and actuated by an operation device (). In one valve piston position, a connection is produced between a pressure supply port (P) and a working port (A). In another valve piston position, a further fluid-conducting connection is produced between the working port (A) and a tank port (T). The pressure difference arising between the working port (A) and the tank port (T) as flow passes through the further fluid-conducting connection acts, by an actuation device (), on the valve piston (). The valve piston passes from a stop position (), with the further fluid-conducting connection shut off, into a fully open opening position with an enlarged opening cross section from working port (A) to tank port (T).
