Abstract
A method of determining the position of at least one fixed cartography token () of an automaton, the token () including a base () having a lateral surface and an end face (), a stud () of smaller cross section than the base () projecting from the end face () of the base (), the stud () including an end face () opposite the base (). The method is aimed in particular at deducing the coordinates (XO, YO, ZO) of at least one point (O) of the cartography token () with respect to a movable member.
