Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a memory that stores instructions and a processor that executes the instructions to cause the image processing apparatus to function as a refocused-image generating unit generating a refocused image having a focus position changed by using image data including information indicating a direction and an intensity of a light beam entered from an object, and a depth-of-field setting unit setting a depth of field of the refocused image to be used for reproduction of a moving image based on a type of reproduction mode relating to the reproduction of the moving image.
