Abstract

Mobile communication network (), mobility node () and method for selecting, as a user terminal () moves in the mobile communication network () from a first node () to a second node (), a cache (or) that stores a desired content and is closest to the user terminal (). The method includes receiving a request from the user terminal () for a segment of the desired content; querying a mobility functionality () run by the mobile communication network () about an internet protocol, IP, address of a cache that stores the segment of the desired content; based on a location at the first node () or the second node () of the user terminal that sent the request, determining the cache (or) that stores the segment of the desired content and has a location closest to the user terminal (); and providing the user terminal () with an answer that includes the IP address of the closest cache that stores the segment of the desired content.
