Abstract

A control device () for a stopper () comprises: —an outer casing (), —a control rod () sliding through the casing (), rigidly attachable to the stopper (), —a hydraulic circuit () including a double-acting hydraulic cylinder () and a reversible hydraulic pump (), the hydraulic cylinder () having a first and a second chamber () between which a piston () slides, the hydraulic pump () being connected directly to the first and second chamber () by means of a first branch and a second branch () of said hydraulic circuit (, respectively, the piston being rigidly attached to the control rod (), the hydraulic circuit () being entirely housed in the outer casing (), —a control circuit () connected to the hydraulic circuit () to control the position of the piston ().
