Abstract
The present invention relates to hamamelitannin analogues, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same, and combinations thereof with anti-microbial agents such as antibiotics or disinfectants. It in particular relates to the use of the compounds, compositions and combinations according to this invention in human or veterinary medicine, more in particular for use in the prevention and/or treatment of bacterial infections, such asinfections, in humans or animals.
