Abstract

A method of visual testing of an individual () includes the steps of: a) placing the individual at a predetermined observation distance (D) from a display surface () at which the individual observes, with a natural head carriage, the display surface; b) displaying, on the display surface, a visual test including at least one test image () in a visual field of the individual; and c) determining, on the display surface, a boundary () of zones of optimal/degraded vision of the test image by the individual in the configuration resulting from steps a) and b), the boundary delimiting respectively a zone of optimal vision (A) and a zone of degraded vision (B) of the visual field, for which zones the individual indicates that he sees the test image of the visual test in an optimal manner, respectively in a degraded manner.
