Abstract

The present invention relates to a hybrid Swiss chard seed designated 69-600 RZ. The present invention also relates to a Swiss chard plant produced by growing the 69-600 RZ seed, which plant exhibits a combination of traits including having green leaves with white petioles and leaf midribs, resistance to downy mildew (f. sp.), field resistance toleaf spot, strong blistering of the leaf blade and a dark to very dark green leaf coloring. The invention further relates to methods for producing the Swiss chard cultivar, represented by hybrid Swiss chard variety 69-600 RZ.
