Abstract

For resolving an initialization order of static objects located in a plurality of object files using a processor device, for each object file, the objects in the object file are categorized as defined static objects or undefined objects. A directed graph is created of the plurality of object files. Then, topological sorting is applied to the directed graph to yield the order of the plurality of object files that ensures a correct initialization of the static objects.
