Abstract

A wearable devicefor controlling a controllable devicebased on an interaction with an objectis disclosed. The wearable devicecomprises a device detection unitfor detecting proximity of the object, an action detection unitfor detecting an action indicative of an interaction of a user wearing the wearable devicewith the objectand a processing unitfor generating a control command for controlling the controllable devicebased on the detected proximity of the objectand based on the action indicative of an interaction with the object. The wearable devicefurther comprises a communication unitfor sending the control command to the controllable device. Thereby, the wearable deviceis able to detect the use of the objectand adjust the control parameters of the controllable deviceto create context-related use conditions. This may improve the control of the controllable deviceand this may offer new interaction possibilities between the wearable device, the controllable deviceand the object
