Abstract

Compounds for the treatment of bacterial and parasitic infections which are hybrid compounds of compounds having antibacterial or antiparasitic activity and compounds that decrease the absorption of the hybrid compound from the gastrointestinal tract. The compounds are preferably for use againstinfections and comprise a hybrid molecule of an anti-compound such as a nitroimidazole and a tetramic acid derivative.
