This disclosure relates to the isolation of a nucleic acid molecule[s] that encode a novel cytochrome P450 and an oxidoreductase from a] cultivar, transgenic cells transformed with said nucleic acid molecule and sequence variants thereof; and including methods for the production of intermediates in the production of morphinans.
