Abstract
A prismatic accumulator cell () with a cuboid housing () and electrodes () arranged therein, wherein the electrodes () for the take-up and delivery of energy from the accumulator cell () are electrically connected to terminal connections (), wherein the housing () is provided with a cover area () which accommodates the terminal connections () and at least one area provided with an insulating material cladding ().
