Abstract
The method determines parameters to generate confocal ultrasound beams (B,B) inside a medium (), and uses a device () comprising first and second ultrasound means () and first and second displacement members () for moving the ultrasound means (). The parameters include signals s,sto the ultrasound means (), and the positions x,xof the ultrasound means (). The parameters are optimized for having a minimum amplitude a,aof the signals s,sand having an acoustic effect inside the medium ().
