Abstract
A coin-roll ejecting device () includes a storing unit () that stores therein a plurality of rolls of coins and having an ejecting mechanism () for ejecting the stored rolls of coins one by one; an ejected coin-roll detecting unit () that detects a roll of coins ejected from the storing unit () by the ejecting mechanism (); and a controlling unit () that determines whether a roll of coins is present in the storing unit () based on a detection result of the roll of coins obtained by the ejected coin-roll detecting unit ().
