The present invention provides methods and systems for automating data transactions in a CLEC interface model. A computer-implemented method for provisioning trunk circuit orders is provided with an interne interface to a computing device to exchange information. A trunk order issued by a first organization is received at the computing device. A first notification of the trunk order is sent to a second organization. A confirmation in response to the trunk order is received at the computing device. A common interface is provided for information exchange. Processing time is decreased for modifying, creating, and deleting trunk circuits in a telecommunications network. Records are maintained and automatically cataloged with time and date-stamps to keep a history for reference.

Methods and systems for automating data transactions in a CLEC interface model

The present invention provides a method and system for automatically auditing code routing instructions on switches in a telecommunication network. Code routing information is retrieved from at least one source containing code routing information. Based on the retrieved code routing information, the correct code routing instructions for a switch are automatically determined. The actual code routing instructions programmed on the switch are retrieved and discrepancies between the actual code routing instructions retrieved from the switch and the determined correct code routing instructions are identified.

System and method for auditing switch code routing instructions

The present invention provides a system and method for managing telecommunication trunk groups. Configuration, operational, and other information may be maintained regarding trunk groups in a telecommunication network. Various calculations and searches may be performed using the information maintained regarding the trunk groups of telecommunication network and provided to a user to allow a user to identify the performance of various trunk groups. The present invention may further allow a user to propose changes to the configuration or routing associated with one or more trunk groups and provide a user with predicted outcomes should such changes be made.

System and method for managing telecommunication trunk groups

A method, and graphical user interface are provided for monitoring the status and forecasting the exhaust date of communications links. Initially, data ports are monitored corresponding to one or more communications links over a period of time. Next, utilization statistics are polled and stored in a database. Thereafter, an average and a rate of change are calculated using the utilization statistics. Based on these calculations, a date of exhaustion can be forecasted. The user interface further provides a user the ability to monitor the status and select multiple communications links to ensure data is flowing properly.

Early detection of faulty communications links

A system and method for managing information describing a communications network. In accordance with the present invention, a set of communication devices are identified, and one or more identifiers are assigned to each of the devices. A workbook storing the assigned identifiers is maintained, and a network specification book is provided. The network specification book includes specification information associated with the communications network, including the assigned identifiers. An update tool is utilized to automatically insert at least a portion of the specification information into the workbook.

Managing information describing a communications network

The present invention provides a method and system for maintaining and updating records of the routing of switches in a telecommunication network. Routing information is retrieved from a routing guide, and corresponding routing information is retrieved from switches in the telecommunication network. Routing information is retrieved from switches by using the routing information from the routing guide to iteratively retrieve routing information from switches by NPA code, switch, rate center, and NXX codes. Routing information from the routing guide is compared to routing information retrieved from the switches and discrepancies in the routing information is identified. Identified discrepancies are corrected in either the routing guide or the routing of the switch.

Switch code routing management method and system

A trunk-group request tool automates the process of manually receiving and analyzing trunk-group circuits pertaining to switch circuits located within a switch facility of a communications network. An embodiment of the computer-implemented method includes receiving a switch or vendor identifier from a data structure, presenting records of information of one or more trunk groups associated with the identifier(s), receiving one or more trunk-group attributes from one or more entry fields, populating a data structure by aggregating one or more records of information of a data structure of the switch and vendor identifier with one or more trunk-group attributes, providing an input field for receiving additional data to supplement one or more records of information or one or more trunk-group attributes, and presenting a report adhering to a predefined format using the information of the data structure.
