An organizing cabinet for storing relatively small, loose items in sorted fashion configured to facilitate sorting and storing of the items. The organizing cabinet features a cabinet holding a plurality of storage bins and a sorting plate disposed at an upper portion of the cabinet. The sorting plate is pivotally connected to the cabinet at a pivot axis. The sorting plate has a flat sorting surface and a retaining wall extending along the sorting surface. The retaining wall extends generally parallel to or aligned with the pivot axis and has a dispensing port formed through which sorted items are poured either directly into a selected receptacle or into a user's hand simply by pivoting the sorting plate upwardly about the pivot axis.

A sawhorse comprises a base assembly including a first base member and a second base member. The first base member has a first top end, and the second base member has a second top end. The second base member is pivotally connected at the second top end to the first top end of the first base member. The first and second bases members are pivotally movable between a folded storage position and an extended operative position. A vertically extendible top member is constructed and arranged to be adjustably mounted in varying vertical positions with respect to the base assembly. The extendible top member includes an elongated, laterally extending top element constructed and arranged to support a workpiece, and a pair of elongated extension elements that are constructed and arranged to be adjustably engaged at varying vertical positions relative to the base assembly so as to adjust the height of the top element.

An add-on barrier for a wheelbarrow for expanding the volume capacity of the wheelbarrow, the barrier comprising a substantially rectangular baseless frame having substantially vertically disposed walls, the frame including a plurality of legs for mounting the frame over the wheelbarrow, the frame further including a plurality of integral hinged bag retainers for retaining a bag in an expanded volume formed by volume contributions of the wheelbarrow and the frame.

A wheelbarrow includes a container, a pair of handles rigidly connected to the container, and a support system including at least one wheel assembly for supporting the container. The container has a longitudinal-vertical plane of symmetry. Each of the handles extends in an extensional direction angled rearwardly outwards such that, in a horizontal projection, the extensional direction forms an angle of between about 65&deg; and about 85&deg; with the plane of symmetry.

Wheelbarrow

A wheel assembly attached to, or integrally formed with, the underside of an object for allowing the object to roll in one of at least two rolling directions includes a fixture and a wheel. The fixture has a first pair of spaced-apart axle mountings defining between them a first axial direction perpendicular to a first rolling direction, and a second pair of spaced-apart axle mountings defining between them a second axial direction perpendicular to a second rolling direction. The wheel has an axial projection extending from each side. The axle mountings and the axial projections are configured such that the wheel can be located with the axial projections retained by the first pair of axle mountings for allowing the object to roll in the first rolling direction, and alternatively, with the axial projections retained by the second pair of axle mountings for allowing the object to roll in the second rolling direction.

An accessory for a bathtub adapted to fit over the side wall of the tub for convenient access to soaps, shampoos and other bath items. The bath accessory is telescopically adjustable to fit over bath walls of different widths and removable for storage. The accessory tray includes a pair of similar halves telescopically connected for adjustment. In a preferred embodiment, each half includes a well to hold bottles and the like while also creating depth extending down the bath wall for stability. Additional features may include a soap tray and pegs for additional bath items.

A wheel assembly for use with carts employs a sleeve element as an intermediate member between a central axle and both the wheel and the cart body. The sleeve element has an inner recess shaped to receive an end portion of the axle and a first external surface for rotatably engaging within a hole in the cart such that a part of the sleeve element functions as a bearing disposed between the axle and the hole. The sleeve element also has a resilient catch element for retaining it within the hole such that the axle is prevented from moving longitudinally while being free to rotate relative to the cart body. The sleeve element also provides a substantially cylindrical external surface for rotatable mounting of the wheel. The sleeve element simultaneously retains the axle in a defined axial position relative to the cart body, maintains a defined spacial relationship between the wheel and the cart body, and guarantees reliable freedom of rotation by allowing rotation of both of the axle relative to the cart body and of the wheel relative to the axle. The sleeve element also renders the entire wheel assembly a simple manually assembled 'snap-fit'.

A combined handle-securing arrangement for unsecuring and opening a drawer in a cabinet and for closing and securing the drawer in the cabinet by a single action, and a drawer-cabinet including the combined handle-securing arrangement. The combined handle-securing arrangement including (a) a substantially L-shaped element having a first arm and a second arm being connected therebetween to form the substantially L-shaped element, the first arm being disposed substantially along a frontal face of the drawer, the second arm being disposable above the drawer, the L-shaped element being hingedly attachable to the drawer via a hinge, the hinge being located about a connection region of the first and second arms, the second arm being formed with a securing mechanism for accommodating an edge element of the cabinet; and (b) a spring element being connected to the second arm of the L-shaped element, the spring element being disposable against a contra element being connected to the drawer, such that when the drawer is closed the spring element forces together the edge element of the cabinet and the securing mechanism of the second arm, thereby securing the drawer closed, whereas when a user pulls the first arm away from the face of the drawer against a force imposed by the spring element, the L-shaped element rotates about the hinge, so as to separate the edge element of the cabinet and the securing mechanism of the second arm, thereby the drawer may become unsecured and concomitantly openable.
