A novel hot-melt adhesive and a preparation method thereof are disclosed, and in particular a hot-melt adhesive for bonding aluminum, stainless steel or other metal materials and PVC plastics is disclosed. The specific nylon-type copolyamide is firstly prepared by designing specific raw materials and percentage thereof, and in combination with favorable bonding properties of the nylon-type copolyamide for metals and favorable bonding characteristics of the perchloroethylene resin for PVC, a double screw extruder is utilized to perform sufficient melt blending on the nylon-type copolyamide and the perchloroethylene resin under the synergistic actions of related aids, so that the obtained novel hot-melt adhesive has favorable bonding properties for both metals and PVC.

Hot-melt adhesive and preparation method therefor

A composite hot-melt adhesive mesh film and preparation process thereof, in particular, a composite hot-melt adhesive mesh film and preparation process thereof for bonding metal and non-polar material are disclosed. The mesh film is compounded of a polar polyamide hot-melt adhesive and a non-polar polyolefin hot-melt adhesive mesh film containing a compatibilizer. The mesh film has a high adhesive strength and a durable and stable adhesion, and is especially suitable for bonding stainless steel, aluminum, copper or other metal materials and polyethylene, polypropylene or other non-polar polymers. Additionally, the preparation process is completed in one set of production process from raw material pretreatment to the final preparation of the hot melt adhesive mesh film product, thereby greatly reducing production failures, and providing high production efficiency and low costs.

Composite hot-melt adhesive net film and manufacturing process thereof

A method for preparation of a high-viscosity polyester hot-melt adhesive with a partially sensitive viscosity-temperature property is disclosed, including the steps of: i) subjecting terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, dodecanedioic acid, adipic acid, butanediol, dipropylene glycol and hexanediol to an esterification reaction in the presence of tetrabutyl titanate serving as a catalyst; and ii) adding an antioxidant to a product resulting from step i) to conduct a polycondensation reaction under a reduced pressure so as to obtain the high-viscosity polyester hot-melt adhesive which has a low melting point of 130&#xb0; C.-135&#xb0; C. and a partially sensitive viscosity-temperature property.

Method for preparing polyester hot melt adhesive with high viscosity and locally sensitive viscosity-temperature property

A polyester/glyoxalated polyvinyl alcohol semi-interpenetrating polymer network hot-melt adhesive and preparation method therefore, mainly includes the steps of: 1) transesterification of certain amounts of dimethyl terephthalate and another dibasic ester with 1,4-butanediol and other diols in the presence of an organotin catalyst under a nitrogen atmosphere in a reactor, completed upon the amount of distillation of a monohydric alcohol byproduct reaching greater than 95% of the theoretical amount; 2) after the temperature is maintained for a period of time, adding in a stabilizer and a polycondensation catalyst and incrementally increasing the temperature to trigger a polycondensation reaction under a reduced pressure to produce particles of a copolymer, and freezing and pulverizing the copolymer particles to produce a powder of a copolyester; 3) uniformly blending a polyvinyl alcohol/glyoxal mixture with the powder produced in step 2) at ambient temperature to produce the target product. The product is capable of forming an internal semi-interpenetrating network at application temperatures.

Methods for preparation of polyester/glyoxalated polyvinyl alcohol semi-interpenetrating polymer network hot-melt adhesive

A method of preparing a polyester/polyolefin hot-melt adhesive for use in a solar cell bus bar is disclosed, in which 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and ethylene glycol are first sequentially subjected in a predetermined ratio to esterification and polycondensation in the presence of a certain amount of a titanium-based catalyst to result in a polyethylene naphthalate (PNT) with a weight-average molecular weight of 16,000&#x2dc;20,000. The PNT is then melt-blended with a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) in the presence of a compatibilizer to produce the hot-melt adhesive that can be shaped into films having a high light transmittance, good mechanical properties, high heat and yellowing resistance and thus particularly suitable for use in solar cell bus bars.
