Retractable handle assembly used in a valve of an Intermediate bulk container (IBC) includes a valve body, a valve core, and a valve stem. The valve stem is used to drive the valve core to move so as to open/close the valve. The handle of the handle assembly is connected to the valve stem and can be rotated around the central rotating axis of the valve stem. When the valve needs to be opened/closed, the handle is rotated around the central rotating axis to a deployed state to open/close the valve. The handle is rotated around the central rotating axis to a retracted state so as to reduce the space occupied by the valve for the valve to be welded to the liner bag or installed to IBC. The handle can be switched between a deployed state and a retracted state.

The present invention discloses an intermediate bulk container and a valve opening/closing device therefor. The container comprises a base, side plates, and a valve installed at the bottom of the container. The valve opening/closing device comprises a handle, a motion-transferring device, a valve opening/closing mechanism and a clutch device. The handle is installed on the side plate and is connected to the motion-transferring device. The motion-transferring device is used to transfer the actions acting on the handle to the valve opening/closing mechanism so as to achieve opening/closing of the valve. The clutch device is used to engage the motion-transferring device with the valve opening/closing mechanism or disengage the motion-transferring device from the valve opening/closing mechanism. According to the valve opening/closing device of the present invention, the operating handle is provided at appropriate position of the side plate of the container, thereby avoiding actions such as bending over or squatting on the ground while opening/closing the valve, thus it is convenient for use and can prevent the valve from being opened by mistake.

Intermediate bulk container and valve opening/closing device therefor

The present invention discloses an intermediate bulk container (IBC) and a valve opening/closing device therefor. The container comprises a base, side plates, and a valve installed at the bottom of the container. The valve opening/closing device comprises a handle, a motion-transferring device and a valve opening/closing mechanism. The handle is installed at the side plate and is connected with the motion-transferring device. The motion-transferring device is at least partially located in the cavity between two sidewalls of the side plate of the container or at least partially located in the groove provided on the side plate, and is used to transfer the actions acting on the handle to the valve opening/closing mechanism to open/close the valve. According to the valve opening/closing device of the present invention, the operating handle is provided at an appropriate position of the side plate of the container, and the motion-transferring device is located between two sidewalls of the side plate or located in the groove provided on the side plate, thereby avoiding bending over or squatting on the ground while opening/closing. Further, the overall volume ratio will not be affected, and the folding level will not be increased when the folding the intermediate bulk container.

The present invention provides a hinged valve, comprising a handle, a valve body, a valve stem, a valve core, sealing rings, guide and a valve cover. The valve core is connected to the valve body by means of a hinge such that the valve core will be rotated around a rotation axis of the hinge. A locking hook and a positioning hole are provided on the valve stem. A positioning column, elastic buckles and guiding slot are provided on the guide. The positioning column is connected to the positioning hole of the valve stem and the guide is elastically assembled to the body of the valve stem under the effect of the elastic buckles of the guide, such that the guide and the valve stem will move synchronously without motion relative to each other. Rotating shafts and a guiding post are provided. The rotating shafts are rotatably connected to the connecting holes. The guiding post can move along the guiding slot in the guide such that the rotation of the valve stem will be transferred to the valve core via the slide by the guide and is converted into a rotation of the valve core around the rotation axis of the hinge so as to open or close the valve The valve of the present invention is structurally compact, easy to operate, open with a small torque, opened at a large angle, and allows for a large flow.

Hinged valve

The present invention relates to a valve with a hinged valve core. The valve comprises a valve body, a valve core, an operating mechanism, a motion-transferring device and a locking device. The valve body is a housing. The housing is formed with a operating hole used to partially accommodate the operating mechanism and a channel having an inlet and an outlet. The valve core is connected with the valve body through a hinge. The operating mechanism is used to operate the valve core to be rotated around the central axis of the hinge to open/close the valve. The motion-transferring device is used to transfer actions on the operating mechanism to the valve core, and when the valve is closed or open, the valve core is locked on the valve body through the locking device. The valve of the present invention has a compact structure, is easy to operate, requires a small torque for opening and allows a large flow when opened.

A hinge system comprises a first component and a second component. Arranged on the first component, a first pin () and a second pin () are not on a same axis. The first pin is movably arranged in a first slot () on the second component. The second pin is movably arranged in a second slot () on the second component. The first component selectively stays in a first position state or a second position state relative to the second component, thus allowing the hinge system to be folded reliably and conveniently. A locking system applicable in a large container comprises a first component, a second component, and a latch (). The latch () is movably received within the first component, and correspondingly the second component is provided with a groove () to receive a section of the latch () extending from the receiving section of the first component. The locking system also comprises a handle (). The handle () is arranged on the first component via pivot shafts () and is allowed to turn towards an outer side of the first component. The handle () is provided at a section thereof away from the pivot shaft () with male pins (). The latch () is provided with concave profiles in correspondence to the male pin (). The male pin () and the concave profile () are engaged to form a sliding pair. Furthermore, the handle () and the latch () constitute a lever system. The lever system uses the pivot shaft () as a fulcrum, the handle () as a driving member, and the latch () as a driven member, where the distance between a force-exerting section of the handle () and the fulcrum is greater than the distance from the sliding pair to the fulcrum. The locking system has the advantages of effortless operation, easy installation, and, when in use, improved conformation of movements to gesture habits of people.

Locking system applicable in large container

A valve core assembly and a valve adopting the valve core assembly. The valve core assembly comprises a valve core () and a transmission member () having a common axis, and a sliding ejector pin () arranged along an axis perpendicular to the common axis. The valve core assembly is disposed inside a valve body () and is rotatable about the common axis upon engaging with the valve body (). The valve core () has one concave portion, and the transmission member () is at least partially placed inside the concave portion. A radial inwardly-convex profile () is formed at the circumferential wall inside the concave portion, the transmission member () is formed with a radial outwardly-convex profile (), and when a valve rod () drives the sliding ejector pin () and the transmission member () to rotate, the radial inwardly-convex profile () in the concave portion of the valve core () engages with the sliding ejector pin () and the radial outwardly-convex profile () of the transmission member () to switch the valve core among an open state, a pre-closed state and a fully-closed state. The valve core assembly has a simple structure and a high space utilization, so as to minimize the size of the valve, and the opening torque is small and the sealing performance is desirable.

Valve core assembly and valve adopting the valve core assembly

A valve and valve cartridge assembly can provide an opening and closing operation with a low torque. The valve and valve cartridge assembly can be switched between a first transmission relationship and a second transmission relationship, and the first and second transmission relationships are formed between the top of the valve cartridge and a transmission device. The first transmission relationship is established so that the valve cartridge is driven to rotate axially. The second transmission relationship is established so that the transmission member drives the valve cartridge to carry out a squeeze sealing movement.
