The liquid crystal phase shifter includes a first substrate and a second substrate oppositely disposed; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a radio frequency connector; and a driving chip. A side of the second substrate adjacent to the first substrate includes a first conductive layer connected to a constant potential; a side of the first substrate adjacent to the second substrate includes a second conductive layer including a transmission electrode; the first substrate includes a first area bonded with a circuit board; and the radio frequency connector and the driving chip are both disposed in the first area and transmit signals through the circuit board.

The liquid crystal antenna includes support structures, liquid crystals, a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate and the second substrate are arranged oppositely, the support structures are arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, the first substrate includes first metal layers arranged on a side of the first substrate facing the second substrate, the second substrate includes a second metal layer arranged on a side of the second substrate facing the first substrate. The second metal layer includes functional part and spacers, the functional parts and the first metal layers are stacked along a first direction perpendicular to the second substrate, and the functional parts at least partially overlap the first metal layers. An antenna and its fabrication method, and a display device are provided. The antenna includes a substrate, a radiation electrode, a first dummy electrode, and a feed line. The radiation electrode, the first dummy electrode, and the feed line are disposed on the substrate. The feed line is coupled and connected to the radiation electrode. The first dummy electrode and the radiation electrode are adjacent but not connected to each other. Along a first direction, an orthographic projection of the radiation electrode to a plane where the substrate is located is a first projection, and an orthographic projection of the first dummy electrode to the plane where the substrate is located is a second projection. There is a first interval between the first projection and the second projection; and the first direction is perpendicular to the plane where the substrate is located.

An antenna and a fabrication method of the antenna are provided. The antenna includes a plurality of sub-antennas arranged in an array. A sub-antenna of the plurality of sub-antennas includes a first substrate and a second substrate that are disposed opposite to each other, a dielectric function layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a ground metal layer disposed on a side of the first substrate facing towards the dielectric function layer, and a metal connector. The first substrate of each sub-antenna is coplanar with each other, and the second substrate of each sub-antenna is coplanar with each other. A spliced region is formed between adjacent two sub-antennas of the plurality of sub-antennas, and in the spliced region, two first substrates of the adjacent two sub-antennas are connected by the metal connector.

A liquid crystal antenna is provided. The liquid crystal antenna includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of transmission electrodes including a first transmission electrode and a second transmission electrode, a plurality of signal lines including a first signal line and a second signal line, a plurality of signal terminals including a first signal terminal and a second signal terminal, and a ground electrode. A transmission electrode is electrically connected to a signal terminal through at least one signal line. The first transmission electrode is connected to the first signal terminal through the first signal line, and the second transmission electrode is connected to the second signal terminal through the second signal line. A resistance of the first signal line is A, and a resistance of the second signal line is B, where A/B is less than 10.

Liquid crystal antenna

Provided are a liquid crystal antenna, a manufacturing method thereof and a communication device having the liquid crystal antenna. The liquid crystal antenna includes a first metal electrode, a second metal electrode, a third metal electrode, at least two oppositely arranged substrates, and a liquid crystal layer located between the two oppositely arranged substrates. The two oppositely arranged substrates each include a light transmission area. The first metal electrode, the second metal electrode and the third metal electrode within the light transmission area each are a hollowed-out structure, and the light transmission area can be used to test a cell thickness of the liquid crystal cell. Since the cell thickness can be measured, other process parameters can be matched and adjusted, so that a mass production yield of the liquid crystal antennas is improved.

Liquid crystal antenna, manufacturing method thereof and communication device

A phased-array antenna and a method for controlling the same are provided. The phased-array antenna includes first and second substrates between which a cavity is formed. Phase-shifting units in the cavity each includes: a power feeder located on a surface of the first substrate facing away from the second substrate and connected to a radio-frequency signal terminal, a radiator located on the surface and insulated from the power feeder, a ground electrode located on a surface of the first substrate facing towards the second substrate. The ground electrode connects to the ground signal terminal and overlaps with the power feeder and the radiator and includes a first and a second openings. A transmission electrode located on a surface of the second substrate facing the first substrate and connects to the control signal line.
