A connector configurator includes a connector configuration system and a customer connected to the connector configuration system. The connector configuration system has a configuration processor and a configurator module executable by the configuration processor. The customer has a display. The customer accesses the configurator module to receive a plurality of interface data displayed on the display. The customer transmits selections of the interface data to the connector configuration system to create a configured connector using the configurator module. The configurator module displays the configured connector on the display based on the transmitted selections of the interface data.

Connector configurator

A connection assembly includes a first housing part, a second housing part pluggable with the first housing part, and a joint connector held between the first housing part and the second housing part. The first housing part has a plurality of contact element receptacles and a plurality of latching elements. The latching elements latch a plurality of contact elements in the contact element receptacles. The second housing part has a locking section locking one of the latching elements in a latching position. The joint connector connects at least two of the contact elements.

A ribbon cable connector for attachment to an end of a ribbon cable comprises a plurality of contact element receptacles adapted to receive a plurality of contact elements. A pair of adjacent contact element receptacles is separated from one another.

A contact element for contacting a bipolar plate of a fuel cell stack includes a contact body extending along a longitudinal axis. The contact body has a channel extending along the longitudinal axis and delimited by a pair of channel walls disposed opposite one another in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. The channel is adapted to receive a portion of the bipolar plate. The contact body has a contact spring on a first channel wall of the pair of channel walls. The contact spring protrudes into the channel and has a cutting edge directed toward a second channel wall of the pair of channels walls and adapted to contact the bipolar plate.

A contact housing for an electrical connector comprises a plurality of electrical contacts and a plurality of contact housing modules in which the plurality of electrical contacts are disposed. The contact housing modules include a first contact housing module and a second contact housing module. The first contact housing module has a first contact securing comb engaging the second contact housing module and securing the contacts in the second contact housing module. The second contact housing module has a second contact securing comb engaging the first contact housing module and securing the contacts in the first contact housing module.

An electrical connector has a connector housing and a contact receiving body. The connector housing has a body receiving space, a body receiving end, a terminating end wall positioned opposite the body receiving end and having an inner surface facing the body receiving space, a body receiving opening positioned on the body receiving end, and a first locking mechanism positioned on the inner surface of the terminating end wall.
