A press-fit-interlocking connection of an inner part to an outer part which is fastened to the inner part includes a cylindrical press joint () between the outer part and the inner part. The interlocking connection is formed by an axial stop having contacting stop parts () on the inner part and on the outer part. The connection has an edge support in contact with the stop parts which contact one another, in a first main plane of curvature (E) to which the cylinder axis of the press joint is perpendicular, with equal radii of curvature (r, r), and in a second main plane of curvature (E) in which the cylinder axis of the press joint lies, with different radii of curvature (r, r).

A belt tensioner controls the pretension of a belt for an ancillary component such as a starter/generator. The ancillary component may apply torque in each direction at different times. The starter/generator has a generator shaft and a generator belt pulley around which the belt passes. A flange is fixed to the starter/generator with a bearing sleeve which surrounds the generator shaft. A first tensioning arm and a second tensioning arm are each formed as circular rings and mounted on the bearing sleeve so as to pivot against each other. One tensioning arm is supported on an inner side of the bearing sleeve while the other tensioning arm is supported on the outer side of the bearing sleeve. Two tensioning rollers are mounted on the tensioning arms and apply a pretensioning force to the belt before and after the generator belt pulley in the belt running direction.

Belt tensioner

A belt tensioner, comprising a first and second tensioning arm supported on a generator housing, a first and second tensioning roller attached to the first and second tensioning arms and configured to apply a pre-tensioning force to an auxiliary unit belt drive, and a bow spring clamped between the first and second tensioning arms in axial overlap with the tensioning rollers and configured to produce the pre-tensioning force.

The invention relates to a belt or chain tensioner () for a belt or chain drive of an internal combustion engine, having a base unit (), an annular tensioning arm () which is mounted so as to be rotatable relative to the base unit () about an axis of rotation and on which a tensioning roll () prepared for pre-tensioning a section of an endless belt or chain is arranged, and two interconnected bearing parts (), by which the tensioning arm () is pivotally mounted on the base unit (), and the bearing parts () are designed as identical parts.

A belt tensioner () for a generator belt drive of an internal combustion engine is provided. The belt tensioner includes a tensioning arm () with a tensioning roller () mounted thereon, and a tensioning spring which acts on the tensioning arm and is intended for pretensioning the belt () is designed for mounting onto the generator () and, in the mounted state of the belt drive, engages annularly around the belt pulley () of the generator and encompasses the belt in a plane which is spaced apart from the plane of the belt and runs on the far side of the belt plane with respect to the generator. The belt tensioner has an open ring-shaped construction, and therefore, in the mounted state of the belt tensioner on the generator, the belt can be mounted axially through the ring opening () in the belt tensioner onto the belt pulley of the generator.

A belt tensioner for a generator belt drive of an internal combustion engine, is provided having: &#x2014;an annular housing part which is secured on the generator housing so as to enclose the generator shaft, &#x2014;an annular tensioning part which is mounted on the housing part in a pivotal manner about the generator shaft, &#x2014;a single tension roller which is mounted on the tensioning part and pretensions the belt, &#x2014;and a spring which is clamped between the housing part and the tensioning part and which applies a torque to the tensioning part in order to generate the belt tension. The spring should be a bow spring which extends parallel to the belt plane (&#x3b5;) and circumferentially and completely outside of a pivoting range of the tension roller.
