A slide rail assembly includes an outer slide rail having a protrusion, an intermediate slide rail having a slot, an inner slide rail having a stop portion, a latch member slidably attached to the slot of the intermediate slide rail, and a resilient member connected to the latch member for returning the latch member to an original position. The latch member includes a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion located at opposite sides of the intermediate slide rail. The stop portion engages with the first engaging portion of the latch member such that the inner slide rail is capable of driving the intermediate slide rail to simultaneously slide out from the outer slide rail. The protrusion engages with the second engaging portion of the latch member to bias the latch member to slide along the slot to release the stop portion from the first engaging portion.

Slide rail assembly

A slide rail includes an inner slide, an intermediate slide, a rack and a positioning element. The intermediate slide is used for receiving the inner slide; a block is positioned at an end of the intermediate slide. The rack has a plurality of ball bearings. An end of the rack is resisted against the block. The positioning element includes a fixing portion mounted to the intermediate slide, and a resilient hook portion having an ear part, the ear part capable of resisting against the other end of the rack to locate the rack.

Slide rail

A ball bearing slide assembly includes a first slide, a second slide, a slide-aiding member, and a positioning member. The first slide is slidably received in the second slide. The slide-aiding member is slidably received between the first and second slides, and comprises a plurality of ball bearings slidably sandwiched between the first and second slides. The slide-aiding member defines a locking hole. The positioning member is mounted to the second slide and forms a resilient cantilever. A positioning block is formed on the resilient cantilever and engages in the locking hole of the slide-aiding member for temporarily locking the slide-aiding member to the second slide, such that the first slide is slidable inward without pushing the slide-aiding member inward. The first slide deforms the cantilever to disengage the positioning block from the locking hole, such that the slide-aiding member is slidable relative to the first and second slides.

Ball bearing slide assembly

A ball bearing slide assembly includes a first slide, a second slide, a slide-aiding member, and a positioning member. The first slide is slidably received in the second slide. The second slide defines a receiving hole. The slide-aiding member is sandwiched between the first slide and the second slide. The slide-aiding member defines a slot. The positioning member is pivotably mounted to the slide-aiding member and forms a positioning tab. The positioning tab extends through the slot of the slide-aiding member for engaging in the receiving hole of the second slide to lock the slide-aiding member with the second slide such that the first slide is slidable inward relative to the second slide without pushing the slide-aiding member inward. The first slide, when slid inward, is capable of pushing the positioning member to disengage the positioning tab from the receiving hole such that the slide-aiding member is slidable relative to the first and second slides.

A latch mechanism is provided for retaining a slide rail assembly, which includes first and second slide rails. The latch mechanism includes a latch module movably carried by the second slide rail, a stop member arranged on the first slide rail, a first release member and a second release member slidably attached to the second slide rail. The latch module includes a first stop surface and a second stop surface at opposite sides thereof. Two protrusions extend from the stop member at diagonally opposite corners thereof configured to respectively engage with the first and second stop surfaces of the latch module for retaining the second slide rail relative to the first slide rail. The first and second release members capable of selectively driving the latch module to slide the latch module to release the first or second stop surface from the corresponding protrusions of the stop member.

Latch mechanism for slide rail assembly

An exemplary slide rail assembly includes a first rail with a protrusion, a second rail, a releasing member, a pair of push buttons, a first latch member, and a second latch member. The releasing member is slidably attached to the second rail and includes a pair of openings for receiving the buttons, and two angular driving edges. The second rail includes a pair of resilient tabs detachably and respectively engaging with the buttons and the releasing member. The first and second latch members are pivotably attached to the second rail. The first latch member includes a post extending therefrom to be selectively driven by the driving edges of the releasing member. The buttons are actuated to release the releasing member from the resilient tabs and move the releasing member to drive the first latch member and the second latch member to disengage the protrusion of the first rail.

A ball bearing slide assembly includes a first slide, a second slide slidably receiving the first slide, a slide-aiding member, and a positioning member slidably attached to the second slide. The slide-aiding member is slidably sandwiched between the first slide and the second slide. The slide-aiding member includes two arms each having a plurality of ball bearings installed therein for facilitating the sliding movement of the first slide relative to the second slide. The slide-aiding member defines a latching slot therein. The positioning member includes a positioning portion engagable in the latching slot of the slide-aiding member for fixing the slide-aiding member to the second slide.

An exemplary slide rail assembly includes a first rail having a pair of stop members, a second rail, a first release member and a second release member slidably attached to the second rail, a fixing board attached to the second rail, a pair of actuating members slidably attached to the fixing board, and a clip. The clip includes a pair of arms respectively abutting against the actuating members. The actuating members engage with the stop members to latch the second rail in the first rail in two opposite directions. One actuating member is driven by the first release member to disengage from one stop member so that the second rail is released along one direction. The other actuating member is driven by the second release member to disengage from the other stop member so that the second rail is released along the other direction.

A slide rail assembly includes a first slide rail having a release portion, a second slide rail having a slot, a third slide rail having a stop portion, a latch member slidably attached to a slot of the second slide rail, and a resilient member connected to the latch member for returning the latch member to an original position. The latch member includes a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion located at opposite sides of the second slide rail. Wherein the first engaging portion engages with the stop portion of the third slide rail such that the third slide rail is capable of driving the second slide rail to slide together relative to the first slide rail. The release portion of the first slide rail is capable of engaging with the second engaging portion to bias the latch member to slide along the slot to release the third slide rail from the first engaging portion.

A latch mechanism is provided for retaining a slide rail assembly, which includes first and second slide rails. The latch mechanism includes a latch member movably attached to the second slide rail, a stop member mounted to the first slide rail to engage in the latch member for retaining the second slide rail relative to the first slide rail, and a release member slidably attached to the second slide rail. The latch member includes first and second driven portion at one side thereof, and a cutout. The cutout has a first and second stop surfaces at opposite ends thereof. The release member is capable of pushing the first or second driven portion to release the first or second stop surface from the stop member. A resilient member is placed between the latch member and the second slide rail for returning the latch member to an original position.

A slide rail assembly includes an outer slide rail having a protrusion, an intermediate slide rail having a slot, an inner slide rail having a release portion, a latch member slidably attached to a slot of the intermediate slide rail, and a resilient member connected to the latch member for returning the latch member to an original position. The latch member includes first and second engaging portions located at opposite sides of the intermediate slide rail respectively. The protrusion is capable of engaging with the second engaging portion of the latch member to stop the intermediate slide rail sliding into the outer slide rail together with the inner slide rail. The release portion of the inner slide rail is capable of engaging with the first engaging portion to bias the latch member to slide along the slot to release the intermediate slide rail from the outer engaging portion.

A mounting apparatus for a storage device, includes a first bracket for accommodating the storage device therein, a chassis for slidably securing the first bracket therein, a locking member including a pivotable portion, a blocking portion pivotable about an axis of the pivotable portion for urging the first bracket, and a connecting portion interconnecting the pivotable portion and the blocking portion, and a bearing connected to the chassis for pivotably supporting the pivotable portion of the locking member.
