Misuse preventing mechanism and rotatable child safety seat

A lateral protecting mechanism adapted for a child carrier is provided. The lateral protecting mechanism includes a protecting block, a locking component and an operating component. The protecting block is pivotally disposed a lateral portion of the child carrier. The locking component is slidably disposed on the lateral portion of the child carrier and configured to slide to abut against the protecting block for restraining a pivoting movement of the protecting block. The operating component is for driving the locking component to abut against the protecting block when the operating component is operated. Besides, a child restraint system having the aforementioned lateral protecting mechanism is provided.

A lateral protecting mechanism adapted for a child carrier is provided and includes a protecting block, a locking component, a driving component and an operating component. The protecting block is pivotally disposed a lateral portion of the child carrier. A lateral protecting mechanism includes a fixing base, a protecting block, a locking component, a driving component and an operating component. The fixing base is fixedly disposed on a lateral portion of a child carrier. The protecting block includes a pivoting shaft and is pivotally disposed on the fixing base by the pivoting shaft. The locking component is slidably disposed inside the fixing base. The driving component is disposed inside the fixing base. The operating component is coupled to the driving component. The operating component drives the driving component to drive the locking component to protrude out of the fixing base to abut against the protecting block for restraining a pivoting movement of the protecting block when the operating component is operated.

A lateral protecting mechanism includes a protecting block, a locking component, a driving component and an operating component. The protecting block is pivotally disposed on a lateral portion of a child carrier. The locking component is slidably disposed on the lateral portion of the child carrier. The protecting block is allowed to pivotally switch between an unfolded position and a folded position when the locking component is located at a releasing position. The protecting block at the folded position is restrained from leaving from the folded position when the locking component is located at a locking position. The driving component is for driving the locking component to slidably switch between the locking position and the releasing position. The operating component is coupled to the driving component for driving the driving component to drive the locking component to slide to the locking position when the operating component is operated.

An adjustable child device includes a first seat portion, a second seat portion and a belt engaging element. The second seat portion is foldable relative to the first seat portion between an unfolded position and a folded position and at least partially received in the first seat portion when the second seat portion is located at the folded position. The second seat portion and the first seat portion are located on a horizontal plane to form a seat part when the second seat portion is located at the unfolded position. A positioning protrusion is formed on a lateral side of the seat part. The belt engaging element is installed on a lateral side of the seat part. A positioning recess is formed on the belt engaging element for engaging with the positioning protrusion. The adjustable child device can be folded when it is not in use, which saves storage space.

An adjustable child device includes a first seat portion, a second seat portion and a belt engaging element. The second seat portion is foldable relative to the first seat portion between a folded position and an unfolded position and is at least partially received in the chamber when the second seat portion is located at the folded position. The second seat portion and the first seat portion are located on a horizontal plane to form a seat part when the second seat portion is located at the unfolded position. The belt engaging element is installed on a lateral side of the seat part and concurrently rotates from a stowed position to a use position when the second seat portion is unfolded from the folded position to the unfolded position. The adjustable child device can be folded when it is not in use, which saves storage space.

The present invention discloses an adjustable child device includes a first seat portion, a second seat portion and a belt engaging element. A chamber is formed on the first seat portion. The second seat portion is foldable relative to the first seat portion. The second seat portion is at least partially received in the chamber when the second seat portion is folded relative to the first seat portion to a folded position, and the second seat portion and the first seat portion are located on a horizontal plane to form a seat part when the second seat portion is unfolded relative to the first seat portion to an unfolded position. The belt engaging element is installed on a lateral side of the seat part. The adjustable child device can be folded when it is not in use, which saves storage space.

A handrail structure adapted to a crib comprises a handrail member, a locking mechanism and a first pivoting member. A first pivoting portion of the handrail member is pivotally connected to the locking mechanism by the first pivoting member. A second pivoting portion of the handrail member is pivotally connected to a support member by a second pivoting member. The locking mechanism is capable of selectively locking or releasing the first pivoting portion. The second pivoting portion has an opening formed thereon and the second pivoting member is movably disposed in the opening. The second pivoting member abuts against a first edge of the opening when the locking mechanism locks the first pivoting portion. The handrail member is capable of being rotated with respect to at least one of the locking mechanism and the support member when the second pivoting member abuts against a second edge of the opening.

A child safety seat includes an inner member, an outer member, and a support frame. The inner member has a seat part and a backrest part that extends upwardly from a rear end and lateral ends of the seat part. The outer member has a rear portion that is disposed behind the backrest part of the inner member, and a front portion that extends from a periphery of the rear portion and that is coupled to the inner member. The support frame includes a first subframe unit that is disposed behind and adjacent to the inner member and that is connected to the outer member, and a second subframe unit that extends between the inner and outer members from the first subframe unit.

A brake mechanism for a stroller includes an axle, a wheel and at least one brake fixing seat disposed at an inner side of the wheel. The brake fixing seat includes a brake assembly and a fixing seat. The brake assembly includes a pedal assembly and a brake member. The brake member has at least one abutting portion and at least one brake arm. The brake assembly includes a pushing member for pushing the abutting portion. A brake hub is disposed at the inner side of the wheel. A plurality of recesses is formed on the brake hub and arranged compactly. The axle passes through the pedal assembly, the brake member, and the fixing seat. The pedal assembly is used to drive the pushing member to push the abutting portion and the brake member moves toward the brake hub until the brake arm extends into the recesses.

Stroller and brake mechanism thereof

A security device for preventing unexpected folding and a child stroller therewith are disclosed. The security device uses a seat-plate locking part disposed on a seat plate to allow or constrain the folding of a rear leg assembly and a front leg assembly of the child stroller according to whether a child is sitting on the seat plate. When a child is sitting on the seat plate, the folding of the child stroller cannot be performed even though a frame positioning device is unlocked. Therefore, the invention can prevent a child sitting on the seat plate of the child stroller from getting hurt due to an unexpected folding of the child stroller.
