A light source includes a reflector, a lamp and a securing mechanism firmly fixing the lamp to the reflector. The reflector includes a reflecting portion and a central hollow neck portion having an inner surface. The lamp includes an envelope provided with a pinch-sealed portion; a light emitting component accommodated in the envelope; and current feedthroughs electrically connected to the light emitting components and passing through the pinch-sealed portion to project outwardly from the envelope. The securing mechanism includes a first metal sleeve tightly surrounding the pinch-sealed portion of the envelope; a second metal sleeve lining the inner surface of the neck portion of the reflector and surrounding the first metal sleeve; and clamping components affixed to the second sleeve. The clamping components fit into the hollow neck portion and encase the inner surface thereof from two opposite sides. The first and second metal sleeves are fixedly secured to one another.

Light source provided with light reflecting means

In a lamp with a reflector envelope ensuring modified light output, comprising a conical reflecting body (2), an insert light source (4) arranged within the conical reflecting body (2) and a light transmitting front element (3) fixed to the conical reflecting body (2), there is between the conical reflecting body (2) and the front element (3) a clearance (10) determined by the dimensions and the inner spring force of a mechanical fixing body (5) connecting the conical reflecting body (2) and the front element (3), wherein at least a part of the clearance (10) is occupied by a deformable sealing material (6) or adhesive.

Lamp with a reflector envelope

A halogen-filled incandescent lamp includes a curved tube enclosure made of a translucent material and enclosing a gas filling and an incandescent body made of a tungsten wire helix of circular wire cross-section. The incandescent body is arranged within the enclosure. Two inside current conductors connect the incandescent body with an energizing device. Each inside current conductor has first and second spiral members and an elongated part forming together a series assembly. The series assembly is connected via the second spiral member with the incandescent body and via the first spiral member with the energizing device. The series assembly is at least partly made of a wire having a cross-sectional area exceeding that of the tungsten wire forming the incandescent body.

Halogen-filled incandescent lamp and inside current conductor therefor

In an incandescent lamp, comprising a translucent envelope (2) having flattened end (3) of rectangular cross-section, a base element (5) surrounding the flattened end part (3) and having rectangular cross-section, two current lead-ins (7a, 7b) connected with an incandescent body (4) arranged within the envelope (2) and with the base element (5) and thereby with a connecting cable (8), a centering plate (6) with a rectangular opening for receiving the base element (5), wherein the centering plate (6) is made with at least one flange element (10) arranged on the side of the centering plate (6) not facing the envelope (2), the base element (5) being made with thinner plate than the centering plate (6), a locating body (9) stepwisely shaped for receiving the flange element (10) is applied, the locating body (9) made with thinner wall than the centering plate (6) is fixed on the base element (5), has an edge (14) separated from the base element (5) by a gap, wherein the edge (14) of the locating body (9) covers at least partly the at least one flange element (10) of the centering plate (6), the flange element (10) of the centering plate (6) is between the base element (5) and the locating body (9), further the flange element (10) of the centering plate (6) and the locating body (9) are connected by a thermal method of joining.

Incandescent lamp with mounting assembly

The invention refers to a projector lamp, which comprises a light source (3), a mirror (1) arranged in a space relationship to the light source (3) for projecting the light emitted by the light source (3) in a predetermined direction, the mirror (1) having a surface determined by a carrier element made of glass or plastics, and a layer system covering the surface of the mirror (1) and including layers characterized by refractive indices alternately at least 2.0 and at most 1.7. The improvement lies in applying layer system including at least four layers (4, 5, 6, 7) prepared for reflecting respective color components of the light emitted by the light source (3). The proposed projector lamp is capable of emitting color light without applying filters.
